Answer

The Spatial Plan is a “blueprint” for Wellington’s growth and development, passed by the Council back in June. They passed a more ambitious plan that enabled more housing than we ever thought they would, thanks to our successful campaign.

But that Spatial Plan doesn’t do anything on its own. Now, the Spatial Plan will have to be implemented in the District Plan, which will implement the decisions made in the Spatial Plan, but also all the other rules that shape development.
